Welcome to Warmancer Games

“Humanity’s short comings are many and great, but we as a race have a single redeeming quality. Set against the comparison of any other species or organism, we are adaptable beyond compare.”
-Edward Johnson, Prime minister of the EUCN

PDCG UDCG FICG

Hey, I'm sorry, but everything awesome needs an awesome acronym, this is ours. Warmancer Games, the creator of 'New World' the Fully Integrated Card Game, has finally come up with its own acronym. So, what is an FICG? A fully integrated card game is just what it sounds like it should be, awesome! First, while working through the stages of card development users will be fully integrated into the design process. When choosing art, your ideas will be fully integrated into the final product of the game. When making decisions, your comments will be, you guessed it, fully integrated into the decision making process. Get it? Good. We want you, as an artist, a writer, a gamer, hell, even if you're just a cool person, we want you on board. So keep reading, give us some imput and get your ideas integrated into the first ever Fully Integrated Card Game.

All About Input

Warmancer Games, we aren't like those other gaming companies, when we set out to make a card game we didn't assume we knew everything, and we didn't assume we know what you like. We want you to build this game, for a few reasons. First, we are way too lazy to come up with a story, characters, abilities, and cards on our own, really, we would rather you make something cool for yourself. We'll lay down the rules, you make a card that fits them and when the time comes to print this game, we'll make sure your card gets considered. I'm sorry, that made me sound motivated, let me try again. I don't want to come up with the rules, I don't want to design the characters, the stories or the abilities. Sure, I'll give you some guide lines, but I won't like it. If you don't want this game made, I'm not doing it by myself. So yah, if I come up with a cool story, I'll post it. If I have an awesome idea for a card, I'll post it, but if you can do better why wouldn't I use your ideas instead of my own? Ever get angry at another card game's system? Any card games out there, I don't know, like Pokemon, or Yu-Gi-Oh, that you just can't stand the childishnes of? Here is your chance to fix it. And this isn't like 'after-market' mana-fixing, we're giving you access to the design process from beggining to end. From concept to release, you have control. Go on the forums, make suggestions, we might shoot you down, but hey, we want to know what you have to say, it has to be better than what we've come up with. A rat that shoots lightning…I think we can do better.

Introduction

Want to live in the new world, then there are some things you need to know:

  • This Website has two purposes.
  • First: Look, this is a resource for aspiring writers who want to share their experiences, their triumphs and their ideas. You want us to get the word out on your work, post something and post your E-mail, if we like it, we'll shoot you a message and talk about getting it into the card game. If you are an artist, throw your work on the site, include an E-mail adress, we'll talk to you about including the art. This is a place to hang out and talk about whatever you like, be it video games, philosophy or anime, just because the site is about cards doesn't mean thats all you can talk about on our forum. WarmancerGames.com is a recruiting ground for art, writing and technical talent. If you are an indie artist or writer, you want to get the word out on your work, contact me and I'll give you full credit for any contributions you make. Amateur art is welcome and amatuer artists are welcome to apply for volunteer positions working on cards.
  • Secondly: This is where we give you free stuff. If there are beta-cards to be released, you'll find them here. When the rules are finalized you'll find them here. If its awesome, you'll find it here.
